Shaft Wall System
We understand that privacy is an important concern with our
customers. For this reason, we use a shaft wall system between
you and your adjoining neighbor. To begin with, each unit has
it’s own insulated 2'x4' structural wall. The shaft wall is
constructed within the two walls and provides a solid two inch
thick partition of drywall. The combination of insulation, air
spaces and multiple layers of drywall, results in a 12 inch
thick barrier that virtually eliminates sound and vibration
transference.
